About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Restaurant Cashier to join our team at Tim Hortons Whitehorse. As a Restaurant Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process customer transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Payments: Process payments, handle returns and exchanges, and provide change to customers.
  • Stock and Clean: Restock shelves, clean the counter area, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work with Technology: Operate electronic cash registers, Interac machines, and price scanners to process transactions and manage inventory.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail or food service environment.
  • Language: English.
