Logistics Coordinator

Fission Logistics Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatch Logistician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
- Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, including arranging for maintenance and repair work as needed
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Recruit and hire staff as needed, and consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner
- Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff as needed
- Conduct performance reviews and coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure high-quality results
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, and organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient operations
- Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure smooth operations, and plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization
- 3-4 years of experience in a related field, preferably in logistics or operations management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and handle heavy loads
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to adjust to changing priorities and deadlines
