At Jack Astor's, we're on the hunt for a skilled Front-of-House Supervisor to lead our team to success.

This role is all about delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests, and we're looking for someone who can bring our standards of quality and service to life.

As a Front-of-House Supervisor, you'll be responsible for building strong relationships with our Back-of-House team, ensuring safety procedures are in place, and providing top-notch guest service.

Here are some key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a productive partnership with the Back-of-House team to drive operational excellence.
  • Ensure proper safety procedures are in place to protect Team Members and Guests.
  • Deliver exceptional Guest service at all times, supporting all levels of service to foster long-term Guest relationships.
  • Ensure stations are appropriately staffed and stocked before the restaurant opens and throughout shifts, cooperating with the kitchen team by communicating necessary adjustments.
  • Support the Management team in maintaining and facilitating all aspects of restaurant operations in accordance with our Team Member Handbook, Policies and Procedures to ensure alignment to consistent company practice.
  • Manage daily cash outs, produce reports, and communicate variances to Management.
  • Support Management with daily decision making, scheduling, and planning while upholding standards, product quality, and cleanliness.
  • Support Management team with inventory and purchasing; ensure that there is enough product on hand to complete daily production; order new stock; purchase special order supplies, if necessary; ensure proper rotation and labeling of ingredients and products.
  • Live and teach our Values and Promises.
  • Foster on-going communication by supporting and contributing to all team meetings.

Requirements:

  • Smart Serve Certification is a MUST
  • Health and Safety, First Aid, and Food Safety certifications are an asset
  • Passion for hospitality industry
  • Available to work a variety of restaurant operating hours
