Lead, Management Training

At Saskdocs, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced healthcare professional to fill the role of Area Division Lead, Family Medicine, South Network. This is a key leadership position that requires a strong understanding of the healthcare system and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and direction to the Area Division, ensuring the seamless integration of academic activities, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical standards.
- Develop and execute operational and business plans, including cascading, monitoring, reporting, and course correction.
- Work closely with system and community partners to develop and achieve strategy.
- Support the development and implementation of health quality improvement processes and initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Area Department Lead, Family Medicine, to achieve the province's healthcare goals.
- Licensed medical practitioner in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS).
- Member of the medical staff of the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) and hold an academic appointment in the College of Medicine.
- Experience as a medical leader in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Knowledge of and experience in guiding health quality improvement processes and initiatives.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Canadian Certified Physician Executive Credential.
- Advanced education in Health Care Administration, Public Administration, and/or Leadership Studies.
- Participation in the Canadian Medical Association's Physician Leadership Institute.
- Additional training and/or education in leadership/management.
