Store Manager in Training

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Savers / Value Village. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and direction of the store and team, ensuring financial results meet or exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities- Manage store performance, including sales, profit, and productivity, to meet annual performance expectations.
- Lead, direct, and supervise the work of the management team and entire team.
- Oversee production and retail sales managers in planning staffing needs, recruiting, selecting, and training team members.
- Regularly observe, assess, interact, coach, and counsel the team.
- Identify and develop high-potential team members for all management positions.
- Maintain a respectful, values-driven workplace.
- Use open communication tools and convert team member input into meaningful action.
- 3+ years of results-driven retail store management or industrial management experience.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to observe, assess, and coach the work of others.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
- Ability to reason, make decisions, and use independent judgment.

The Store Manager will be required to frequently lift and carry products weighing less than 5 lbs, occasionally lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs, and push and pull racks/carts weighing 50 to 250 pounds using 4 – 10 lbs of force.
The Store Manager will also be required to stand frequently, walk, stoop, bend, and twist, and occasionally kneel to handle and inspect merchandise, validate work processes, train, coach, and counsel the team.
