Job Overview:

The Byrnel Group is seeking a highly skilled Lead Financial Analyst to join its corporate Finance team. This key role will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and analytical support to help drive business results.

About the Role:

This dynamic position involves a wide range of financial duties, including periodic reporting, forecasting, budgeting, incentives, variance analysis, data consolidation, and special projects. The successful candidate will work closely with functional leads to provide financial insights and analytics that inform key decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership in consensus-building and team collaboration within and outside of Finance.
  • Understand business implications and proactively solve problems to help Commercial and Operations achieve their objectives.
  • Coordinate business presentations, including month-end close, forecasting, quarterly reviews, and planning.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and identify core issues using data, then assist the FP&A Lead in improving and creating new measures for forecasting and enhancing efficiency.
  • Manage the development and maintenance of all weekly and monthly financial close, planning, forecasting, and reporting models.
  • Review and reconcile P/L, B/S, and supplemental data with the corporate HFM system.
  • Collaborate with data source providers and technology teams to ensure accurate, automated, and timely key decision data.
  • Provide operational support for Sales through commission plan design, calculations, accrual management, and payment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP, financial analysis techniques, and budgeting/forecasting processes.
  • Strong PC skills, including advanced knowledge of HFM, JDE, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and PowerBI.
  • Excellent financial/cost analysis and budgeting/forecasting skills.
  • Self-direction and organization skills critical to achieve month-end reporting deadlines.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of $83,500 - $102,000 per year, based on experience.
