Executive Chef Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Sunset Inn & Suites. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of meals, as well as supervising the activities of specialist chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and train cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Menu Planning: Assist in planning menus and ensuring that food meets quality standards.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events and guests.
- Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
- Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
