Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences. As a Clinical Psychologist in our Forensic Psychiatric Rehabilitation Unit, you will play a critical role in providing psychological services to patients who have come into contact with the law.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide evidence-based clinical assessments and treatment to patients with severe and persistent mental illness
- Work collaboratively with an interprofessional team to provide assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Conduct research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of care
- Supervise students and provide consultation to interprofessional team members
- Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution
- Registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
- 3 years of clinical and/or research experience in the field of severe and persistent mental illness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
