We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that high-quality food and excellent customer service are consistently delivered.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and improve daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and manage staff performance, providing coaching and feedback to enhance their skills and work quality.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
  • Set staff work schedules to meet business needs and maintain adequate staffing levels.
  • Supervise and train staff members in all areas of restaurant operations.
  • Budgeting and financial management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Candidate evaluation: Conduct regular performance reviews with employees to assess their performance and provide constructive feedback for growth and improvement.
  • Pricing strategy: Cost products and services by analyzing market trends, competitor pricing, and product costs.
  • Compliance and regulations: Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, adhering to local laws and industry standards.
  • Procurement: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other essential supplies.
  • Customer service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing prompt and courteous resolution.
  • Sales promotion: Utilize your knowledge of sales techniques and strategies to drive revenue growth and increase sales volume.

Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in hospitality management or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the food service industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
  • A valid driver's license (for transportation purposes).
