Role Summary

Eva Lee & Associates Recruitment is seeking a skilled Family Law Paralegal to support a leading boutique law firm in British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and opposing counsel to collect, review, and produce documents.
  • Draft routine correspondence and prepare pleadings, including Form F8 Financial Statements and Affidavits.
  • Review documents and code them for relevance and privilege, and assist lawyers with trial preparations.
  • Utilize DivorceMate and other software to manage documents and workflows effectively.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of litigation experience with a specialty in family law.
  • Post-secondary LAA and/or paralegal program completion or equivalent experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of BC Supreme Court Rules, court practices, and procedures.
  • Exceptional time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of discretion when handling confidential matters.
