About the Role:

The successful candidate will oversee complex audits and ensure their completion across multiple business groups. They will also manage associated working relationships with business lines as per regulatory requirements.

We're looking for someone who has delivered audit analysis, standard reporting, and operational support to teams, and who possesses a deep understanding of the financial industry landscape and current market trends.

  1. Develop and implement audit plans and policies that align with regulatory requirements and organizational goals.
  2. Provide leadership and direction to teams, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  3. Maintain relationships with business stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  4. Monitor progress and outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  5. Support the development and implementation of training programs, enhancing the skills and knowledge of audit team members.
  6. Foster a positive, inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and employee growth.
  7. Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and regulatory developments, applying knowledge to drive business growth and improvement.
  8. Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in audit, preferably in global compliance and risk management.
  • Undergraduate degree or relevant certifications (CIA preferred), accounting designations, or equivalent education.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence key partners.
  • Expertise in using software tools, data analysis, and reporting techniques.
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
