Job Description
This role has been created to assist in the delivery of day-to-day risk and compliance activities, ensuring that risk and compliance arrangements are run efficiently, effectively, and consistently. The successful candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills and maintain the core values of the organization.
The specific role responsibilities include developing open and effective channels of communication with internal teams, driving an environment of risk and compliance mitigation, operational control, and client service. Other key responsibilities include attending governance meetings, providing training to the business, and building relationships with clients' 2LOD functions.
Functional Area Responsibilities
Promoting a compliance culture within FNZ, promoting understanding of regulatory obligations, and providing an excellent risk and compliance service to the Company are key aspects of this role. Ensuring that risk and compliance team's internal processes remain up to date and being a point of contact for risk and compliance related queries are also essential responsibilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Significant previous experience in a risk and compliance role, good written skills, ability to communicate effectively, and ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships are essential requirements. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of regulatory and compliance risk methodology and standards, as well as computer proficiency and desktop software applications.
A professional or industry qualification and ability to analyze, present, and report information in a clear and concise manner are also desirable. Additionally, a calm, reasonable, and professional manner, flexibility to change, eagerness to improve and develop new skills, and good knowledge of applicable regulator rules and regulations are highly valued.
