About This Role

This Industrial Burner Mechanic Specialist is a critical member of our team responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial burner systems. These systems are crucial in various settings where precise control of heat and combustion is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform work on burners (gas, oil, methane, propane, and other), boiler controls, feedwater units, pumps, valves, softeners, and all related system equipment and components.
  • Work on installation, maintenance, and repair tasks in our Industrial Burner Division related to projects and services.
What You'll DoInstallation
  • Setup and configuration: Install new burner systems according to manufacturer specifications and engineering drawings.
  • Integration: Connect burners to fuel supplies, electrical systems, and any associated control panels or automation systems.
Maintenance
  • Routine inspections: Perform regular inspections to ensure burners are operating efficiently and safely.
  • Cleaning and calibration: Clean burner components, adjust settings, and calibrate controls for optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to burner operation, such as fuel flow problems, ignition issues, or control system malfunctions.
Repair
  • Diagnostic testing: Use diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint problems with burner components.
  • Replacement: Replace faulty or worn-out parts, such as burners, fuel nozzles, igniters, or sensors.
  • Testing and validation: Conduct tests after repairs to ensure burners are functioning correctly and meeting safety standards.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Three to five years of documentable mechanical/electrical troubleshooting experience is necessary.
  • In-depth knowledge of industrial burner systems, combustion principles, and related equipment is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose complex issues under pressure.
  • Mechanical skills and proficiency in using tools and equipment for maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Safety consciousness and awareness of safety protocols and regulations governing industrial operations.
  • Clear communication skills to interact with colleagues, clients, and vendors effectively.
  • Detail-oriented approach to inspection, documentation, and compliance with standards.
Payout Details

This role comes with an estimated salary range of $85,000-$110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement planning, and opportunities for professional growth.
