We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Cascades Canada ULC.

About the Job:

This is a permanent full-time position, working 42.5 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 3 years of experience in maintenance or equivalent experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble mechanical equipment and stationary industrial machinery;
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions;
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements;
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts;
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery;
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts;
  • Set up, prepare, and adjust processing machinery;
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties;
  • Monitor equipment to detect wear and damage;
  • Maintain accurate records;
  • Organize and maintain inventory;
  • Repair and overhaul equipment to ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
Work Environment:

This role is physically demanding and requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.

Benefits:
  • This position offers a competitive salary range between $55,000 and $70,000 per year, depending on experience;
