Key Responsibilities:

  • Check-in and check-out guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring all procedures are followed.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest requests are met, including delivering items to guest rooms and providing special accommodations.
  • Maintain room security and confidentiality by controlling access to guest rooms and handling sensitive information.
  • Record and track guest requests, including special accommodations and VIP requests.
  • Follow shift checklists to ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner.
  • Manage daily transactions and float responsibilities, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist with cleaning duties to maintain a clean and well-ordered work area.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, responding to and anticipating guest needs to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
  • Maintain and balance sales from the in-lobby kiosk, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.
  • Maintain the guest business centre area, including stocking paper and assisting guests with computer inquiries.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-year experience in a full-service hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet.
  • Knowledge of the local area and surrounding attractions.
  • Working knowledge of reservations systems and cash handling procedures.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong ability to work with diverse groups.
