Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

About the Role:

As a Medical Policy Pharmacist with the Brant Community Healthcare System, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe management of medications within our hospital. This includes collaborating with our interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement medication policies and guidelines.

Your Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain medication policies and guidelines in collaboration with our interdisciplinary teamsConduct regular audits to ensure compliance with medication management practicesProvide educational programs and training sessions for our staff on medication management and safetyCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and quality of care

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree, as well as licensure as a Pharmacist in the Province of Ontario. Experience working in a computerized inpatient hospital pharmacy environment is preferred.
