Procurement Solutions Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Solutions Business Analyst to join our team at Softchoice. As a key member of our procurement team, you will work closely with customers and internal teams to determine requirements and facilitate the development and testing of integrations between procurement systems and our ordering system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise and educate sales teams and external customers on typical business-to-business procure-to-pay integrations and their advantages.
  • Gather and analyze requirements with customers and internal teams, and manage integration-related configuration and process documentation.
  • Manage and deliver on customer requested eprocurement projects, including planning, prioritizing, risk identification, execution, and deployment.
  • Assist in negotiation for practical solutions as required.
  • Liaise with IT teams to implement system or mapping fixes or enhancements.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate procurement systems with other enterprise systems for seamless data flow and process automation.
  • Keep projects on track with basic project management tactics, and communicate status to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to test plan development and execution for each integration.
  • Work with sales teams and customers on change management as the solution is deployed.
  • Manage user access and configurations in procurement networks used by our customers.
  • Ongoing maintenance of existing integrations.
  • Support sales, AR, and customers as required.
  • Assist in issue resolution as required.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma.
  • Solid knowledge of the business-to-business procure-to-pay cycle.
  • Solid knowledge of common integration mechanisms and high-level protocols.
  • 3+ years experience with procurement networks (e.g. Ariba, Coupa, etc.).
  • 3+ years experience with the software development cycle (requirements, design, build, QA, UAT, deploy).
  • Excellent communication skills, both presenting and listening.
  • Experience in communicating with customers external to the organization (sales or customer service or similar).
  • Problem solving skills and experience.
  • Negotiation skills and experience.
