IT Business Analyst Role at Spark Power Corp

Spark Power Corp is seeking an IT Business Analyst to join our team. As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a key role in driving the collection and translation of business requirements into detailed system and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the collection and translation of business requirements into detailed system and technical requirements
  • Facilitate progress on small to medium-sized projects
  • Understand and contribute to the overall design required for application enhancements
  • Foster relationships across the organization; collaborate regularly with various departments and operational teams to drive value and demonstrate transparency
  • Act as a key resource in various stages of SDLC and Project Life Cycle
  • Maintain objectivity with own work to ensure solutions are aligned and consistent with business objectives
  • Support in the resolution of assigned tickets and application-related issues in a timely manner
  • Raise and escalate any issues and concerns with IT management and/or business process owners
  • Make data-driven decisions and recommendations
  • Develop and maintain documentation as required

Requirements:

  • University or postgraduate education in a business or STEM discipline
  • Additional certifications that exemplify a desire for continued education is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in an Implementation consulting or Business Analyst capacity
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively understand and refine business requirements
  • Experience in NetSuite or other ERPs such as Oracle Cloud ERP, JDE, SAP S/4HANA is a strong asset
  • Established understanding of change management is a strong asset
  • Experience in delivering business solutions in an agile environment is an asset
  • Experience in analyzing data, queries, and reports to support root cause analysis of reported issues
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on the production of quality
  • Ability to manage deliverables across multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative, accountability, and eagerness to learn
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visio, Wireframing Tools
