This role is responsible for leading the transition of Yellowknife Catholic Schools' curriculum from Alberta Curriculum to British Columbia Curriculum. The successful candidate will work closely with the Assistant Superintendent of Learning to streamline assessment, instruction, and professional development for curriculum renewal and technology integration.

The ideal candidate possesses a NWT Teaching Certificate, a Bachelor of Education Degree, and a Master's Degree in school administration (or related field). They should have at least 3 years of experience in a school-based administration role or equivalent leadership experience.

Key qualifications include:

  • Understanding of educational change, curriculum implementation, equity and inclusive learning, and integration of technology
  • Exemplary leadership, communication, presentation, and organization skills
  • Ability to understand NWT Indigenous cultures and educational history
  • Exceptional verbal communication and facilitation skills
  • Commitment to personal growth and professional development

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, based on education and experience. Additional benefits include opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as a collaborative and supportive work environment.
