About the Role:

The Manager, Salesforce Marketing Cloud will be a subject matter expert in full-stack development, specializing in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. This hands-on role will manage a small team of developers in support of the implementation, monitoring, data input, and integration of Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The Manager will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Public Relations, and Residential teams to support ongoing campaigns, systems maintenance, and cross-team initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Holds regular check-ins with team members and stakeholders to plan the backlog, roadmap future projects, and ensure current projects are on track.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to solicit business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provides suggestions for new features that bring value to the business.
  • Creates email templates from scratch that work on all supported devices with complex levels of personalization and dynamic rendering.
  • Develops journeys, automations, and scripted processes to bring campaigns to life and understands the correct tools to use for each project or campaign.
  • Refactors legacy code and re-vamps old emails or campaigns.
  • Designs and implements solutions for integrations with external systems.
  • Leads the planning and execution for sunsetting features, migrations, or adopting new technologies/features.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud development and implementation.
  • College or University degree. Post-secondary education/certification in a relevant field.
