We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Surveying and Geomatics team in the Vancouver area. As a key contact on projects, you will work with stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and support staff.

The Project Manager will coordinate with management and other project managers to secure the necessary resources for completing project deliverables on schedule.

About the Role

As a Senior Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development and maintenance of survey project schedules and coordinating resources
  • Maintaining budgets and projecting cash flows
  • Providing proactive support to clients and anticipating their project needs
  • Reporting on project status to clients based on agreed-upon formats
  • Participating in business development planning activities and preparing proposals, estimates, and reports in coordination with our proposal team
  • Guiding and instructing less-experienced team members
  • Ensuring all survey projects and operations adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations

Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive survey work experience, with exposure to Project Management or applicable transferable experience
  • A Degree or Diploma in Geomatics Engineering Technology
  • AScT certification with ASTTBC
  • Proficiency in advanced software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Centre
  • Working knowledge of surveying techniques, practices, equipment, and safety requirements
  • Progressive experience in managing all aspects of project delivery
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work concurrently on multiple projects
