We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at A&W. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Operations: Prepare budget and cost estimates, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
- Team Management: Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys, establish work schedules, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to customer service.
Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and you will be required to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and walking.
