SEO Strategist Job Description

At VERB Interactive, we're seeking a skilled SEO Strategist to join our team. As an SEO Strategist, you'll play a vital role in devising and implementing SEO strategies that drive success for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic to our clients' websites.
  • Conduct keyword research and analyze competitors to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Optimize website content and structure to improve user experience and search engine crawlability.
  • Manage backlink profiles and develop link building strategies to improve domain authority.
  • Monitor and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.
  • Collaborate with the SEO team lead to develop and implement integrated SEO strategies for clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and best practices to ensure our clients' websites remain competitive.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in SEO or a related field.
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ranking factors and SEO best practices.
  • Working knowledge of CMS platforms like WordPress and Drupal.
  • Experience managing SEO for websites with WordPress and Drupal.
  • Experience crawling and analyzing websites for technical SEO issues.
  • Proven experience managing domain indexing with Google Search Console.
  • Knowledge of technical SEO tools and keyword tools.
  • Experience managing organic search efforts for multiple clients.
