SEO Coordinator Job Description

At VERB Interactive, we're seeking a skilled SEO Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our digital marketing team, you'll play a crucial role in helping our clients improve their search engine rankings through optimization strategies and technical SEO recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform SEO activities, including keyword research, competitor research, content, and website performance analysis
  • Maintain SEO keyword trends charts
  • Utilize site scanning tools to identify and fix technical SEO issues
  • Develop and implement SEO tactics, including site architecture, on-page, off-page, and local SEO
  • Support backlinking and outreach strategies
  • Collaborate with an SEO Strategist to coordinate SEO tasks for multiple clients
  • Communicate with internal teams to ensure relevant tasks are completed
  • Continuously improve SEO strategies and tactics
Requirements:
  • 0-2 years of SEO experience
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with technical SEO tools and keyword tools
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms, such as WordPress and Drupal
  • Demonstrated ability to write and create content for SEO and social media
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Highly organized with the ability to function in a fast-paced environment
