We are seeking a skilled Line/Prep Cook to join our culinary team at The Glenerin Inn & Spa. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to menus and recipes
- Ensure meals are attractive, the correct temperature, and portion size
- Report any recipe shortages, discrepancies, or quality issues to the Chef or Supervisor
- Clean and sanitize cooking stations daily
- Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen equipment
- Check and record food temperatures daily
- Follow disposal procedures according to established waste management guidelines
About You
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about cooking and has a strong attention to detail. You should have a high-school diploma or equivalent, a valid Food Handler's certificate, and at least 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen. You should also be able to provide a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening.
