Job Description:

The Disability Case Manager - Employee Relations Professional will be an integral member of our client service team, responsible for proactively managing assigned disability claims. This involves evaluating medical information and job duties to develop case management and return-to-work plans during periods of disability.

The successful candidate will deliver timely, professional, and responsive service to our clients and their employees, ensuring seamless communication and coordination throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate medical information and job duties to determine the length of disability.
  • Conduct medical investigations by phone or in writing to assess the extent of the disability.
  • Develop and implement return-to-work programs and negotiate with employers as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with service level agreements associated with policy holder claims.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Disability Management, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent listening skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
