Personal Support Worker

About the Job We are seeking a skilled Personal Support Worker to join our team at Brucelea Haven. As a Personal Support Worker, you will work under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to provide high-quality care to residents in accordance with their individual care plans. Your collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team will be essential in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our residents. Salary & Benefits This part-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of $27.61, based on the UNIFOR collective agreement. In addition to your hourly wage, you will also receive 12% in lieu of benefits and 4% in lieu of vacation. The part-time nights lines operate from 10PM to 6AM, with each open line containing 4 shifts within a two-week period, including every other weekend. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized College. You must also have a clear Vulnerable Sector Check, a TB Two-Step Skin Test, and excellent communication and organizational skills. Patience, flexibility, and adaptability are essential in this role, as is the ability to provide resident-focused care in terms of behavior and attitude. Computer skills are also required, with Point Click Care being an asset.
