About the Opportunity

The nursing department at Brucelea Haven is seeking a Personal Support Worker to provide high-quality care to residents. Under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), the successful candidate will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver personalized care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care to residents in accordance with their care plans
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized College
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
  • TB Two Step Skin Test
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Patient, flexible, and adaptable
  • Computer skills
  • Point Click Care experience an asset
