Supervisor, Security Guards

Ardent Security and Investigative Services Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team. As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our security team, ensuring the safety and security of our clients and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Security Team
- Lead and manage a team of security guards to ensure they are performing their duties effectively and efficiently.
- Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure Smooth Operation of Security Systems
- Ensure that all security equipment and machinery are functioning properly and make necessary repairs or replacements.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
- Prepare and Submit Reports
- Prepare and submit regular reports on security incidents, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
- Requisition and Order Security Supplies
- Requisition and order necessary security supplies and equipment.
- Provide Technical Advice and Training
- Provide technical advice and training to security guards on security procedures and protocols.
- Establish Work Schedules and Procedures
- Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures for the security team.
- Education and Experience
- College or CEGEP diploma in a related field.
- Minimum 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in security.
- Certifications and Licenses
- First Aid Certificate.
- Security Guard License.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Work Environment
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
