Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and guidance on health information management practices and standards
- Develop and implement health information systems and policies
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely health information
- Provide training and support to staff on health information management practices
- Conduct audits and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with health information management standards
- Graduation from a recognized Health Information Management program
- Certification by the Canadian College of Health Information Management and eligibility for active membership with the Canadian Health Information Management Association
- One year's recent related experience in a Health Information Management department of an acute care healthcare facility or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Current valid BC Driver's License
