Key Responsibilities

We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to assist the Supervisor and/or Team Lead with incident investigations, audits, and documentation management. This role requires effective communication, both internally and externally, utilizing telecommunications systems and equipment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist with major incident management, escalating issues to relevant stakeholders as per established procedures.
  • Provide top-notch customer service to hospital staff, security personnel, and the general public.
  • Take incoming calls, document details, and escalate to the appropriate resource.
  • Dispatch service calls to the correct responder(s) according to established protocols.
  • Coordinate backup support units as needed for incidents and service calls.
  • Complete detailed documentation and reports of activities within the Security Department.
  • Monitor security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms, etc.) and respond accordingly based on established procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
  • The ability to type at least 50 words per minute with no errors.
  • Able to learn and adapt to new software/applications.
  • Familiarity with Occupational Health & Safety Act and Trespass to Property Act.
  • Commitment to professionalism and excellence in customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
Education and Certification Requirements

This position requires:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB).
  • Proof of immunizations for TB, MMR, Varicella.
  • Standard First Aid, CPR Level C.
  • Use of Force.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $19.68 per hour, reflecting the company's commitment to fair compensation for skilled professionals.
