We are seeking an experienced Surgical Assistant to join our team at LASIK MD, a partner of Vision Group. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about eye care and wants to be part of a dynamic and supportive team.

Your Responsibilities
  • To prepare the operating room and its equipment for intraocular and LASIK procedures.
  • To support the surgeon during procedures by maintaining a high level of attention to detail and providing excellent communication skills to reassure patients.
  • To coordinate and support interventions in a fast-paced environment.
  • To thrive in a team environment and demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Able to connect with others quickly and build trust.
  • A sense of responsibility and a commitment to taking their role seriously.
  • A definite interest in the field of health and a passion for helping others.
  • Comfortable working with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience in the healthcare field is considered an asset (e.g., Optometric Assistant, Orderly, Dental Assistant, Pharmacy Lab Technician, Sterilization Assistant, Animal Health Technician, Veterinary Assistant, Medical Device Reprocessing Technician, etc.).
