This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to support the development and implementation of compensation, benefits, and retirement programs at Extendicare Canada Inc. The successful candidate will work closely with the Manager of Total Rewards to drive project initiatives, provide strategic analysis, and deliver exceptional results.
About the Role
The Total Rewards Analyst will play a key role in supporting the design, maintenance, and improvement of our total rewards programs. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the team with administration, research, data analytics, and modeling to document, audit, and maintain our total rewards programs;
- Gathering and analyzing total rewards data, completing cost modeling, and compiling reports and documentation to inform business decisions;
- Collaborating with service providers, facility leaders, and various teams to implement CBA changes related to total rewards;
- Assisting in the annual compensation cycle, including market research, creating and administering merit increase data files, and contributing to continuous process improvement;
- Conducting and participating in total rewards surveys to support the ongoing development of our Total Rewards strategy;
- Helping develop and implement ongoing benefit projects;
- Working closely with the Human Resources and Benefits Operations teams to answer inquiries related to our total rewards program and processes;
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or Commerce with a focus on Finance;
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Total Rewards or as an HR Analyst;
- Expert-level user of Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and advanced formulas;
- Excellent financial acumen, including a basic understanding of financial terms and concepts;
- Ability to collect and analyze big data, assess required next steps, provide recommendations, and input on solutions within deadlines;
- Commitment to data integrity and initiative in independent continuous learning and development;
- Ability to self-manage and juggle competing priorities while meeting deadlines;
- Solid knowledge of HRIS, preferably Workday;
