Train RAMS Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Train RAMS engineer to join our team in St-Bruno, Quebec. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for managing RAMS activities and related deliverables on our projects.
Your primary goal will be to support the Alstom products' performance by defining safety and reliability requirements that meet our high standards. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the adequacy of RAMS deliverables and foster their acceptance by our customers.

You will have the opportunity to work on a range of transportation systems, from high-speed trains to electric buses and driverless trains, as well as infrastructure, signaling, and digital mobility solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage RAMS activities and related deliverables on our projects
- Support the Alstom products' performance by defining safety and reliability requirements
- Capture and assess railway safety risks and define necessary actions to mitigate them
- Coordinate RAMS contributors from different entities and manage interface with independent parties
- Apply applicable Alstom/Engineering rules & processes on the program(s)/project(s)
- Report on progress of tender/project/program RAMS activities and alert PrEM/BTM and N+1 in case of issue potentially impacting achievement of QCD commitments
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2-3 years of experience in Railway Safety analysis and demonstration methods and tools
- 2-3 years of experience in RAM prediction and measurement methods and tools
- Electrical and/or Electro-mechanical Engineering preferably applied to Railway products
- Good Communications and interpersonal skills including with third parties (customer)
- Time management and reporting skill
- Sense of urgency/priority
- Customer & Product Focus
- Structured and organised with Hands-on approach
- French & English operational in reading/writing and speaking within technical meetings
The estimated annual salary for this role is around $85,000-$110,000 CAD, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a retirement savings plan.
