As a key member of our team, you will oversee and coordinate the delivery of daily activities for the Regional Prevention Program, providing leadership and supervision to designated staff. Your expertise will be utilized to plan and implement therapeutic substance use programs and services for clients with complex issues, ensuring a high standard of care and promoting interdisciplinary practice and collaboration.
We are seeking an individual with strong systems thinking skills, knowledge of mental health and substance use issues, and experience working in community-based settings. You must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and community partners.
The ideal candidate will have a Master of Social Work degree from an accredited school, current registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers, and five years' recent related experience in mental health and substance use clinical services. Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business purposes are also required.
A comprehensive salary package is offered, including an estimated salary range of CAD $64,109 - $80,443 per annum, based on experience. Additional benefits include comprehensive health benefits, employer-paid training opportunities, and access to exclusive discounts for VCH staff.
