Audit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our dynamic team at KPMG Canada. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for leading audits from planning to completion, ensuring the correct accounting practices and methodologies are applied to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage the audit of clients, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
- Manage the audit from planning to completion of statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Participate in the practice group to assist in implementing the business plan, driving growth and innovation
- Work with members of the assurance management group to meet the goals of the assurance financial plan, ensuring alignment and success
- Counsel, train, and mentor audit staff, fostering a culture of excellence and development
- Help clients reach solutions on their needs, providing expert guidance and support
- Work with clients and partners through complex accounting issues to come up with appropriate solutions, driving value and results
- Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent, demonstrating expertise and credibility
- 5+ years of experience working with a public practice accounting firm, showcasing depth and breadth of knowledge
- Previous experience using the various accounting frameworks applicable in Canada (IFRS, ASPE, NPO and/or Public Sector), ensuring adaptability and flexibility
- Excellent client service skills, with an aptitude to understand the clients' business to develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities, ensuring effective time management and organization
- Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service, driving excellence and results
- Proven background of building a client base and adding revenue, demonstrating business acumen and growth
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and effective communication
- Strong team player with meticulous attention to detail, driving collaboration and success
