Job Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate special events, such as buffets and banquets
  • Determine the size of food portions and costs, ensuring efficiency and profitability
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies in a timely manner
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, maintaining high-quality standards
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, prioritizing customer satisfaction
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, optimizing resource allocation
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, contributing to a safe and healthy environment
Requirements
  • Food Safety Certificate, demonstrating expertise in food safety and handling
  • Permanent employment contract, offering stability and opportunities for growth
  • 30 to 40 hours per week, allowing for a healthy work-life balance
  • Fluent English language skills, facilitating effective communication
