Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Supervisor to join our team at Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel By Wyndham. As a Hotel Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service and that the hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Hotel Staff
    • Direct and supervise a team of 3-4 staff members to ensure that all hotel operations are running smoothly.
    • Coordinate and assign tasks to ensure that all areas of the hotel are covered.
  • Assist Guests with Special Needs
    • Provide exceptional customer service to guests with special needs, ensuring that their requirements are met and exceeded.
  • Maintain Hotel Operations
    • Oversee the maintenance of hotel equipment, machinery, and computer systems to ensure that they are functioning properly.
    • Coordinate repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Requisition Materials and Supplies
    • Procure and manage hotel supplies and materials to ensure that they are available when needed.
  • Work in a Fast-Paced Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high pressure to deliver exceptional results.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a team environment.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
