Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Supervisor to join our team at Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel By Wyndham. As a Hotel Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service and that the hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise and train hotel staff to ensure they are providing excellent service to guests. This includes training on hotel policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
  • Coordinate and Assign Work: Coordinate and assign work to hotel staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk operations, including checking in and checking out guests, handling guest complaints, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain Hotel Facilities: Maintain the hotel facilities, including the lobby, public areas, and guest rooms, to ensure they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Monitor and Control Expenses: Monitor and control hotel expenses, including labor costs, to ensure that the hotel is operating within budget.
  • Improve Guest Experience: Continuously look for ways to improve the guest experience, including implementing new policies and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, flexible, initiative, organized, and a team player.
