Motel Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motel Managing Supervisor to join our team at Skyways Motel. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our motel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the work of our front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to ensure that all areas of the motel are running smoothly.
- Assist guests with special needs and resolve any issues that may arise during their stay.
- Co-ordinate, assign and review work to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, and arrange for repairs as needed.
- Requisition materials and supplies to ensure that the motel is well-stocked and equipped to meet the needs of our guests.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the hospitality industry.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a strong focus on customer service.
- Ability to work under pressure, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of activity and pressure.
- Stand for extended periods and move around the motel to perform tasks.
- Work in a team environment, with a high level of collaboration and communication required.
