Job Summary

As an Executive Chef at Townplace Suites by Marriott Brantford and Conference Centre, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise and leadership skills in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimate food costs and supplies, maintaining accurate records of consumption and sales

• Analyze operating costs and data to optimize kitchen operations

• Supervise and train culinary staff, including specialist chefs, cooks, and kitchen workers

• Develop and implement new recipes and menus to meet quality standards

• Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events and functions

• Requisition food and kitchen supplies, arranging for equipment purchases and repairs as needed

• Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets, and specialty functions

Requirements

• Safe Food Handling certificate

• Leadership and dependability skills

• Ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
