IT Project Coordinator: Strategic Delivery Specialist

Job Overview

Flynn Group of Companies, a leading trade contractor in North America, is seeking an IT Project Coordinator with a strategic mindset to join our team. As a key member of our Applications group, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality IT projects that meet business objectives.

With a focus on project coordination, planning, and execution, you will work closely with Project Managers to ensure seamless delivery of core IT projects. Your attention to detail, effective collaboration skills, and ability to adapt to changing circumstances will be essential in driving project success.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist Project Managers with project scheduling, action item tracking, and resource planning.
  • Manage smaller projects related to M&A activities, branch moves, software tool rollouts, and minor hardware/network upgrades.
  • Monitor and manage completion of Statements of Work (SOWs) by internal staff and external vendors.
  • Document management for PMO artifacts and quotes/invoices related to projects.
  • Capture project scope, deliverables, and approval.
  • Prepare communications, progress reports, meeting agendas, and minutes.
  • Enforce project adherence to internal quality standards, processes, tools, and documentation.
  • Support business analysis activities to ensure projects and technical solutions meet business objectives.


Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience working on IT projects with an interest in project management.
  • Experience working on IT projects and an interest in project analysis and processes.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools, content management tools, and project management/time tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Ability to understand complex architectural, networking, and software issues.
  • Prior experience in IT service delivery is an asset.

Salary:$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
