Job Title: Inventory Control Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team at 6709222 CANADA LIMITEE. As an Inventory Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management system, coordinating activities with other work units, and providing technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement inventory management plans to prioritize tasks and optimize inventory levels.
  • Organize and maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking inventory levels, monitoring stock movements, and conducting cycle counts.
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless inventory management and minimize stockouts or overstocking.
  • Prepare and submit reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of computer equipment and machinery, and resolve any technical issues that may arise.
  • Train workers in inventory management duties and policies, and conduct performance reviews to ensure high standards of performance.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Windows.
