About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at 6709222 CANADA LIMITEE. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management system, coordinating activities with other departments, and providing technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Develop specific plans to prioritize inventory tasks, organize inventory to accomplish work, and ensure the accuracy of inventory records.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, and establish work schedules and procedures.
  • Operations Supervision: Supervise a team of 3-4 people, conduct performance reviews, and arrange training for staff.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports, and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Technical Expertise: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain coordination, or operations supervision.
  • Skills: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Windows, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Handling heavy loads up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
