About the Role

Saputo Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager, PMO–Learning and Development to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in enabling change for large-scale, complex enterprise systems implementations and smaller IT initiatives that impact end users across various regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute learning experiences pre-Go Live and in support of end-user competency and sustained performance over the long term.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional project teams, divisional, and global business teams to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Create innovative, engaging, and relevant learning deliverables to enhance the learner experience.
  • Coordinate and manage all stages of instructional design, development, and delivery, including learning needs analysis, strategy development, curriculum and learning path design, content development, approvals workflows, translation, delivery support, KPI reporting, end-user performance support, and ongoing learning materials maintenance.
  • Evaluate and adjust learning plans and deliverables to support end-user go live and sustainment learning requirements in alignment with solution build and realizing intended business benefits.
  • Oversee learning logistics coordination for programs/projects.
  • Oversee learning infrastructure readiness to support deliverables development, execution, and performance.
  • Contribute to annual and ad-hoc project planning by providing detailed estimation of effort/development ratios, internal/external resourcing forecast, development tool, translation costs, learning environment, and budget requirements during project planning.
  • Act as the point of contact for learning requests, feedback, and suggestions. Escalate risks/issues and provide mitigation options in a timely manner.
  • Establish learning metrics, track, and provide timely reports on deliverables status, participation rates, learning evaluation results, and sustainment competency/performance. Establish reciprocal feedback loops and other mechanisms to provide inputs for performance support.
  • Establish and monitor quality standards in collaboration with the Director and IT leadership.
  • Refine the Saputo IT Learning and Development Strategy as part of continuous improvement and aligning with leading practice, including approach, tools, and processes.
  • Devising a 3-year strategic roadmap for IT Learning & Performance Support. Actively drive the evolution of the change management department by contributing ideas and making improvement suggestions.
  • Develop an annual budget forecast.
  • Collaborate with the Director, Change Management and Communications, and the Manager, Change Management to maintain a holistic approach to team and deliverables management.
  • Lead and inspire your team using coaching and collaboration to enable mutual respect, open communication, and high performance.
  • Manage team dynamics, build unity, and maintain a respectful work environment. Model the Saputo values and demonstrate respect for your colleagues in all your formal and informal interactions.
  • Manage individual performance, establish and monitor annual goals, and provide meaningful feedback and direction regularly.

  • Maintain expert-level skill in current and emerging courseware authoring and learning solution tools, and participate in professional development courses and conferences annually to build awareness of trends and innovations.
Requirements
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in a relevant program (e.g., education, English, human resources, organizational development, information technology, business, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience leading complex SAP (ECC or S/4HANA) training programs.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as an instructional designer.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the significance of an integrated change management approach, which incorporates business readiness, communications, and learning.
  • Business knowledge acquired through cross-functional exposure, including finance, manufacturing, supply chain, and/or logistics.
  • Experience in managing team and team member performance in a hybrid work environment.
  • Experience in designing ERP curricula.
  • Experience in designing learning experiences and enabling performance support.
  • Experience in evaluating learning effectiveness.
  • Experience in training schedule and infrastructure management, including training environment and logistics.
  • Demonstrated ability in system and business process analysis.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a detail and deadline-oriented focus.
  • Proficiency in managing to a project plan.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of leadership and delivery teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expert-level proficiency in MS Office (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Advanced understanding of SharePoint functionality and potential for supporting learning architecture, deliverables development, and sharing.
  • Advanced proficiency in courseware authoring and learning solution tools, e.g., Articulate 360, Vyond.
Assets
  • Proficiency in business process writing software.
  • Dairy, manufacturing, distribution, or CPG industry experience.
  • Knowledge of LMS/TMS software.
  • French language skills.
  • Certification as a training development professional (e.g., CTDP).
