Job Summary

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join the Vancouver Detox team in Vancouver, BC as an Addiction Nurse. The successful candidate will provide screening and assessment, direct nursing care, education, and counseling to clients presenting with substance use disorders and related problems at the designated site/program.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide screening and assessment, direct nursing care, education, and counseling to clients presenting with substance use disorders and related problems.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, educational resources, and other healthcare professionals/providers to achieve excellence in client-centered care and education.

Qualifications

- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
