Rental Service Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Rental Service Supervisor to join our team at H.A.L.T. HOLDINGS LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our rental services, ensuring seamless customer experiences, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively allocate tasks to sales team members to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Authorize Payments and Returns: Process payments and returns efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to meet business needs and ensure adequate staffing.
  • Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service, promoting our products and services to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions and optimize operations.
  • Resolve Issues: Proactively address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other challenges to maintain a positive customer experience.
  • Organize Inventory: Manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and efficient restocking processes.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Lead and motivate the sales team, ensuring they meet performance expectations and adhere to company policies.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Rural area, retail business.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people, elemental sales occupations, retail salespersons and sales clerks.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Own Tools/Equipment: Computer, printer, internet access, cellular phone.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player.
Experience:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years: Permanent position, 40 hours per week, English language.
