Rental Service Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Rental Service Supervisor to join our team at National Car & Truck Sales and Rental. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our rental fleet, ensuring seamless customer experiences, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash handling procedures
  • Establish work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, including training and development
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical ability to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods
