Rental Service Supervisor Job Description

H.A.L.T. HOLDINGS LTD is seeking a skilled Rental Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our rental services department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively allocate tasks and responsibilities to our sales team to ensure seamless customer service and efficient operations.
  • Authorize Payments and Returns: Verify and approve payment transactions and merchandise returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for our sales team, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing downtime.
  • Sell Merchandise: Provide exceptional customer service and promote our products to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data and prepare comprehensive reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve Issues: Proactively address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other operational challenges to maintain a positive customer experience.
  • Organize Inventory: Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring timely restocking and minimizing stockouts.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Lead and motivate our sales team to achieve sales targets and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Work Setting: Rural area, retail business.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people, elemental sales occupations, retail salespersons and sales clerks.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Own Tools/Equipment: Computer, printer, internet access, cellular phone.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player.
