Job Summary

At Royal Bank of Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, Source Documents, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our source data and document traceability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in Transaction Testing cycles, requesting and reviewing source documents based on the scope of the test.
  • Collaborate with Business Stakeholders to ensure the SDDT Directory is understood and maintained.
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with our stakeholders are adhered to during transaction testing and report on SLA metrics.
  • Develop knowledge of Regulatory Reports and RBC Product Classes to become a valuable team resource.
  • Assist with project work as required, such as regulatory deliverables.

Requirements

  • Experience handling and deriving information from large data sets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technology staff at different levels of seniority.
  • Understanding of retail and commercial banking products, policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently with general supervision/oversight to achieve short-term performance expectations.
  • Strong ability to utilize the Microsoft Suite of tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
